Final Run

I am sad to report that we are making the short leg back to Anacortes from James Island. There was much libation around the fire last night, possibly even a little too much. Had a great time and met some new folks. We will be tied up in 30 minutes.

Sharks take over....last night on the boat and the sharks have taken over. I was sittin eatin my crab holding on to the barbi pole and shark attacked again. Bob is building building a fire on shore...why??? More to follow.

Last Full Day

We have relocated to the east side of James Island, sadly for our final night on the boat. Starting out on a hike around this small island which is all state park.

What gorgeous blues and pinks. Having a rum on ice, wishing I didn't feel like I was beat up by a Mexican drug gang after that ride.

Riding on Orcas

Well, riding horses on Orcas Island is more correct. Had a beautiful ride on the most challenging trail conditions I've ever been on. Their website said a 3 and a half hour ride and it was every minute of that. I don't know who was happier to see the truck and trailer, me or the horse.
